For the New York University, which wanted to redesign all the signage in its 16-story building, both a campus and an emblematic cultural site in Greenwich Village, a three-dimensional typographic universe was developed, whose characters were inspired by the impressive façade designed by the renowned architectural firm SOM. The spatial angles such as the play of light and shadow on each of the letters have been studied and designed to intuitively facilitate the orientation of visitors. All the inscriptions were made and painted by hand on the walls and ceilings of the enclosure.

The orientation of the directional indications is systematically represented by the three-dimensional character orientation.

For the university of design and research in human and social sciences, the choice to use the lexicology of their universe on a figurative level is an aesthetic way of representing the exhaustiveness of the teachings.
